5001977 NAAN FLAT BREAD WHITE PRE-FOLDED chicken tandoori

NAAN FLAT BREAD WHITE PRE-FOLDED, chicken tandoori marinated in a yogurt lime sauce with warm bold spices, grilled and drizzled with a tangy yogurt sauce, wrapped in naan bread.


  • Replace the pre-cooked chicken tandoori with pre-cooked chicken masala.
  • Vegetarian recipe: replace the meat with grilled halloumi dices or curry flavoured tofu cubes.

Naan bread is typically served hot and brushed with some water but in some other cultures such as those in the Indian Subcontinent, they brush ghee or butter. 

These Naan breads are very versatile in use and suitable for different occasions: As a sandwich carrier, a pizza base, a panini, grilled in a contact-grill,  as such, to scoop other foods or as appetizer, filled and cut into smaller wedges.


  • For filling:
  • Pre-cooked Indian flavoured chicken strips
  • grated carrots
  • cucumber dices
  • tomato dices
  • boild sweet corn (tin)

For Masala Paneer Stuffing:
1 1/2 cups grated paneer/cottage cheese, 2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander, 1 medium sized finely chopped onion, 1 teaspoon chaat masala, 1/2 teaspoon red chili (lal mirch) powder, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera), 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder (bhuna jeera powder), Salt to taste.

Or…Easy paneer stuffing:
1 cup paneer / cottage cheese (cube), 2 tsp oil, 1 onion (finely chopped), 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, ¼ tsp turmeric. (= kurkuma), ½ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder, ½ tsp coriander powder.

For Garlic Ghee or Butter: 3 tablespoons butter or ghee (or garlic butter), 1 teaspoon grated garlic
Or… the easy way: I suggest brushed with garlic butter or salted butter (instead of gee).


  1. Prepare the paneer stuffing.
  2. Brush the outside of the naan bread with garlic butter and flash bake the naan bread.
  3. Fill the naan envelope with 3 to 4 chicken tenders, cucumber dices, tomato dices, grated carrots and sweet corn.  
  4. Finish with the paneer on top.
