The story behind

Baked in clay lined ovens and flame baked. Naan bread is a leavened, oven-baked flatbread found in the cuisines mainly of West Asia, South Asia and Indonesia. Typically, it is served hot and brushed with some water but in some other cultures such as those in the Indian Subcontinent, they brush ghee or butter. A good naan bread needs to be light and fluffy. For best results cook on a high heat: crisp on the outside, but still fluffy on the inside. The thick and chewy bread with its signature charred and slightly crunchy spots can be savoured in many ways. It can be used to scoop other foods or served stuffed with a filling. Shelf life of 4 days when kept in a plastic bag.
