Lebanese Flat Breads are very versatile in use and suitable for different occasions.
DIFFERENT USES
- Cold as filled wrap
- Hot as a filled wrap, grilled in a contact-grill
- Chips & dips, baked. You can tear it up and use it as something to spread cheese or hummus on.
- Crumbled: Bake flatbreads unadorned and crumble them through salads in the fashion of the classic Lebanese fattoush of mixed vegetables.
INGREDIENTS
- 5001980 Lebanese Flat Bread Wholemeal
- Olive oil
- za'atar herbs
- Middle Eastern herb & spice mix
- hummus
- Falafel
- Edamame beans
- beef of lamb pitta meat
- feta cheese
- olives
- pomgeranate
METHOD
For the chips & dips:
- Brush with olive oil, bake each side 1 min under broiler (or contact-grill), sprinkle za’atar herbs.
For the pizza-like Lebanese flatbread:
- baked with the addictive middle eastern herb and spice mix & za'atar
- covered with hummus
- top with extra ingredients, such as: Falafel, edamame beans, beef or lamb pitta meat, feta cheese, olives, pomegranate seeds. Or extra raw vegetables.
